*I just finished BREAKING DAWN. I don't know how I feel about the ending. Sort of anti-climatic for me. The highlight of the ending was Garrett's speech, totally awesome. Overall I completely loved the book. I cried, I laughed, I gasped, I cried, I cheered, I worried, I cried... Oh, and I cried. Fabulous.
*I'm just over 16 weeks pregnant now. I want to feel the baby move so badly, but I have a feeling I'm gonna have to suck it up and be patient. With all the crap that comes with pregnancy (fatigue, morning sickness, dizziness, and stretch marks just to name a few), it could always be worse... one thing is certain: I'm glad I've got a human baby inside me instead of a vampire.
*We've been watching the Olympics, mostly swimming, gymnastics, and beach volleyball. Those effing Chinese gymnast girls are SOOO underage. It makes me angry to watch them win medals. Oh sure, let's give the gold to a 13-year-old chinese cheater instead of the USA girls. Grrrrr.
*I have to go back to school next week and I'm kinda freaking out. I'm not ready!!! The official first day of school is August 25, only a week and a half away. What the H happened to summer?

Breaking Dawn.
I started reading it this morning. I'm only like 200 pages into it and completely obsessed! I can't believe how much I've bawled so far. I'm talking intense, uncontrollable sobbing.
I can't stand this confused feeling. I honestly have no idea what is going to happen. I can't even guess where it's going next.
If anyone wants to bring me a box of tissues, I'll be home for the next 12 hours (or however long it takes me to finish).
*And those of you who have finished the book are laughing at me right now.

I'm PREGNANT.
No joke. It's for real.
I'm knocked up.
HOORAY!!!
I can't believe I held out this long without telling anyone! But after the unfortunate experience we had last time we thought it'd be best to wait as long as possible before breaking the news.
I'm 15 weeks along and due January 27. We're ecstatic and terrified.
We find out if it's a boy or a girl the first of September. I'm thinking it's a girl, but Jay prays twice a day for a boy. Either way we're pretty happy campers.
We heard the heart beat last week which was awesome.
I'm starting to get a big preggo belly which is pretty freaky.
And life is good.

Who will be the next American Idol? Not me!!
We got back from our 2 week California vacation. I'll post pics and more info when I get time.
I went to American Idol auditions today. I had to wake up at 3:00am to get ready and get to Salt Lake by 4:30am where we waited in line for maybe 3 hours. If you watched the morning news you might have seen me with Big Buddah, I was right there in front of the camera. Really cool.
They finally let us all in the building, we sang some group songs, filmed some shots, and I got to see Ryan Seacrest, Justin Guarini, and Jon Peter Lewis up close which was exciting. My section had to wait FOREVER to audition! We didn't get our chance until around 4:00pm. I was first to sing in my group and when I stepped up in front of those producers I guess I was more nervous than I thought because my mind went completely blank; I started singing and forgot my words!! Oh no!! So I had to start over! DAH!! Oh well, once I remembered the words I didn't do too bad. Unfortunately they told everyone in my group none of us were good enough to advance to the next round. I talked to a lady on the crew who told me that out of almost 7,000 auditioners only about 120 moved on to the next round, then they sing for producers again who cut it down to around 60, then those 60 get to go to Randy, Paula & Simon.
Only 120 out of 7,000??? Whew!! Let's just say A LOT of us got cut.
But I am so glad I went. It was seriously a ton of fun!!! I made a ton of new friends and we were so crazy and loud the entire time. The whole experience was totally worth it and I'm really happy I went through with it.

Memories.
I stole this from a friend...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you! Reminisce away...

We're leaving tonight.
Our trip officially starts at 8pm tonight when we go to spend the night in Spanish Fork. Then to Vegas. Then all over California.
We'll be gone 2 weeks til we get back to Utah.
Then the day we get back I go do American Idol tryouts.
Then the rest of the week I go to Girls Camp.
So basically I'll be totally MIA for about 3 weeks. But rest assured I'll have a big long blog to write when I get back!!
